Susannah Thomas was accepted into the first round for Film Victoria's Originate Program.

ORIGINATE is a dynamic development and production program designed to support and amplify feature film Writers and Writer/Directors from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds, from start to finish.

Susannah's first feature screenplay is a 90 minute horror titled "McMahon". It follows the story of a group of women that embark on an amphibian research trip in the Central Goldfields. While camping in an isolated part of the bush one of the group gets stuck in a mine shaft. By falling in the shaft the women unknowingly release the vengeful spirits of miners that were betrayed and trapped in the mine. The group becomes smaller as one by one the women are possessed by ghosts.
